Hydrogen Futures Ukraine Symposium 2026: From Vision to Sustainable Generation

On 24 September 2026, Ukrainian and international hydrogen stakeholders will gather in Lviv for the Hydrogen Futures Ukraine Symposium 2026: From Vision to Sustainable Generation.

Organised by the H₂-diplo Office Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the Symposium will focus on the practical steps needed to develop credible and investable green hydrogen value chains - from EU integration and infrastructure to project bankability, sustainability and regional development.

The Ukrainian Hydrogen Council will be represented by Pavlo Butenko, who will present the hydrogen projects being developed by Hydrogen Ukraine. These initiatives demonstrate Ukraine’s potential to produce renewable hydrogen, develop cross-border infrastructure and become an integral part of the emerging European hydrogen market.

As the first high-level international hydrogen symposium hosted in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the event will provide an important platform for connecting Ukrainian projects with European expertise, policymakers and potential partners.
