Joint Efforts for a Green Future: Updated MoU Between Ukraine and Scotland

During European Hydrogen Week in Brussels, the Ukrainian Hydrogen Council and Hydrogen Scotland (formerly the Scottish Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Association) signed an updated Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement reinforces our evolving partnership and reaffirms our joint commitment to advancing hydrogen development across borders.
Building on the MoU established in November 2022, the updated agreement aims to strengthen effective links between our organizations and members, supporting the growth and positive impacts of the hydrogen sector. Through this collaboration, we will continue to share best practices in the safe deployment and use of hydrogen technologies.
Scotland's experience in hydrogen development serves as a valuable model for Ukraine, showcasing innovative solutions and practical applications in the hydrogen economy. The country’s leadership in green hydrogen production, infrastructure, and policy development offers valuable lessons and potential pathways for Ukraine’s own hydrogen ambitions. By working closely with Hydrogen Scotland, we aim to leverage these insights to accelerate Ukraine’s hydrogen transition and contribute to the broader global energy transformation.
