Ukrainian Hydrogen Council and the SID City Science Park have signed a memorandum of cooperation
The Ukrainian Hydrogen Council and the SID City Science Park of Lviv Polytechnic National University have signed a memorandum of cooperation, aimed at further developing joint projects and initiatives in the field of hydrogen technologies.
The signing of the memorandum is focused on addressing a number of current tasks, including:
- Identifying barriers to the implementation of hydrogen technologies in Ukraine and finding ways to overcome them.
- Promoting the implementation of projects in the field of hydrogen energy.
- Supporting the development of cooperation between enterprises, institutions, and organizations in Ukraine’s energy sector for the effective use of hydrogen technologies.
Hydrogen energy has great potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and diversify energy sources. Through joint efforts, we will contribute to the development of this promising sector and strengthen Ukraine's position in the global hydrogen technology market.
Collaboration with universities, such as Lviv Polytechnic, is key to the development of hydrogen technologies in Ukraine. Universities not only train new specialists who will be needed for the successful implementation of hydrogen energy, but also serve as important hubs for research and development. This will help ensure the integration of hydrogen technologies into Ukraine’s energy market, contributing to its green transition.
The SID City Science Park is a center for innovative and creative solutions aimed at technology transfer and the commercialization of scientific research results. Its mission is to develop scientific, technical, and innovative activities in higher education institutions, involve students in research work by creating a space to unlock their potential, and collaborate with innovative organizations and enterprises for the joint development of production platforms. The park also focuses on the effective use of scientific potential and technical facilities for the commercialization of research and its implementation in domestic and international markets.
