3rd Annual International Conference "From Promises to Reality: Accelerating Hydrogen Technologies in Ukraine and Beyond" was held

This week Ukraine became the focal point for discussions on hydrogen technologies, hosting the 3rd annual international conference titled "From Promises to Reality: Accelerating Hydrogen Technologies in Ukraine and Beyond." The event gathered leading professionals and experts from around the world to discuss the prospects and challenges of developing hydrogen energy.
The conference served as a platform to showcase the significant progress made by the Ukrainian Hydrogen Council. During the event, a representative from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine discussed the status of Ukraine's Hydrogen Strategy up to 2050, which includes ambitious plans and concrete steps for the development of hydrogen energy in the country.
Polina Kazakevych, President of the Ukrainian Hydrogen Council, shared insights on the energy association's activities in 2023 and outlined ambitious goals for 2024, emphasizing the importance of implementing new hydrogen technologies and achieving energy independence for the country.
The discussions primarily focused on the crucial role of hydrogen in Ukraine's post war recovery, highlighting the critical importance of international cooperation for the successful implementation of these plans. One of the central projects that garnered significant interest among participants was the Central European Hydrogen Corridor. This initiative envisions the creation of a hydrogen transport route running from Ukraine through Slovakia and the Czech Republic to Germany, ensuring reliable supply routes and promoting energy integration in the region.
