Ukrainian Hydrogen Council took part in the European Hydrogen Energy Conference

On 6-8 March, the European Hydrogen Energy Conference (EHEC), one of the most prominent international events in the hydrogen industry, took place in Bilbao. At the invitation of the Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2), the Ukrainian Hydrogen Council took part in a parallel session entitled " Challenges and Opportunities in the Hydrogen Sector in Europe and Latin America".

According to the President of the Ukrainian Hydrogen Council Polina Kazakevych, international cooperation is a key element for the successful development of hydrogen energy and the implementation of common goals on the path of green transition. That is why the development of relations with foreign partners and representation of Ukraine on such respected platforms is an integral part of promoting the country's energy agenda and the work of the Association.

At the event, the Ukrainian Hydrogen Council was represented by Board Member Dr. Oleksandr Riepkin. He noted that despite the challenges posed by the war with russia, Ukraine remains steadfast in its pursuit of a hydrogen-powered future. In particular, he shared the developments in the preparation of the National Hydrogen Strategy and the hydrogen initiatives and projects being developed in Ukraine.

In addition, he also took part in the Plenary Session "National H2 Institutions: Adapting the Transition of National Energy Systems".

The Ukrainian Hydrogen Council expresses its sincere gratitude to the Spanish Hydrogen Association for its support and cooperation, as well as for the invitation to participate in the European Hydrogen Energy Conference.
