Oleksandr Riepkin presented the draft Hydrogen Strategy of Ukraine to the German National Hydrogen Council
During the presentation of the draft strategy, Oleksandr Riepkin outlined the key aspects of the strategy. He noted that the strategy envisages significant production volumes that will contribute to the development of the domestic market and help ensure the country's energy security. In addition, he outlined expected volumes of hydrogen export to Europe, which demonstrates Ukraine's readiness to become a reliable supplier of this important energy source to the European market.
Speaking to German colleagues, Oleksandr Riepkin stressed the importance of cooperation between Ukraine and Germany in the hydrogen energy sector. He noted that such a partnership has the potential to contribute to the development of the hydrogen economy not only in both countries, but also throughout Central Europe. Particular attention was paid to initiatives such as the Central European Hydrogen Corridor, which is expected to become the foundation for a regional hydrogen economy.
The meeting confirmed the mutual interest in cooperation between Ukraine and Germany to implement energy projects aimed at reducing emissions and developing sustainable energy.
