Oleksandr Riepkin took part in the German-Ukrainian Energy Day in Berlin

On October 25, Oleksandr Riepkin, a member of the board of the Ukrainian Hydrogen Council, took part in the German-Ukrainian Energy Day in Berlin. The event took place within the framework of the German-Ukrainian partnership in the field of energy and became an important forum for discussing current energy issues.

 

The war with Russia not only caused serious damage to the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, but also emphasized the importance of transition to the use of renewable energy sources. This shift is not only about energy security but also environmental responsibility and resilience, which are key factors in Ukraine's path towards EU membership and a sustainable future.

On October 26, Oleksandr Riepkin also took part in discussions on perspectives and frameworks for the green hydrogen market in Ukraine.

Oleksandr Riepkin expressed his concern about the apparent reluctance on the German side to support Ukrainian programs at the necessary pace. He emphasized the need to work together on innovative solutions and accelerate the development of important programs to ensure the energy future of both countries.

"The agreement between Germany and the UK in September to accelerate the international hydrogen industry development sets a precedent we could follow," Oleksandr Riepkin noted.
