The business of Japan offers modern technologies to accelerate the recovery of Ukraine
Japanese businesses are ready to contribute to Ukraine's recovery and offer a range of modern technologies to accelerate the process. This was discussed during a meeting between Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko, and representatives of the Japanese business delegation. The meeting included representatives from various sectors such as healthcare, e-commerce, communications, financial technology, transportation, and industrial goods, including companies like Rakuten, Allm, and others.

"Despite the ongoing war, Ukraine's economy is demonstrating resilience and adaptability, recovering faster than previously anticipated. We expect GDP growth of up to 4% by the end of this year. Currently, we are directing our main efforts towards rebuilding the infrastructure and inviting investors to contribute to projects in Ukraine. On our part, we are exploring ways to secure investments and have already made some progress in this regard. The government has identified five priorities for rapid recovery: energy, housing, critical infrastructure, demining, and economic revitalization, including the development of small and medium-sized businesses," noted Yulia Svyrydenko.
During the meeting, Japanese business representatives presented a series of projects and technologies that they propose to implement in Ukraine. For instance, in the city of Bucha, with the participation of Japanese businesses, there is a proposal to create a 3,000-hectare green industrial zone for the production of green hydrogen. This would enable local production of renewable energy, heat, and fuel, promoting energy independence for Bucha.

Additionally, technologies were presented that would be beneficial in Ukraine's recovery process, including:
1. Medical technologies and programs for predicting, preventing, and treating PTSD and stress-related disorders.
2. Technology for safe and rapid inspection of construction sites, which can be used for infrastructure monitoring in remote areas (e.g., dams) and create precise real-time 3D maps.
3. Autonomous water purification systems for use in evacuation centers in disaster-stricken areas of various countries.
4. A system to support agricultural production, collecting information on the environment, weather conditions, and crop growth, analyzing it with AI, and providing recommendations for increasing crop yields.
In turn, the Ukrainian side presented developed Ukrainian projects to attract investments.
