Ukraine stands ready for the practical implementation of the Energy Partnership with Germany and for the launch of bilateral projects. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal emphasized during a meeting with the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel, which took place on August 22.
The integration of the Ukrainian energy system into the European network ENTSO-E is a priority and our strategic goal.
According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, cooperation in the field of renewable energy and hydrogen is a promising area of the Energy Partnership.
"We are interested in pilot hydrogen projects with German partners to start joint production and transit of hydrogen to Germany and Europe. Several Ukrainian project proposals on hydrogen have been submitted to the German side for consideration," said Denys Shmyhal.
He added that Ukraine would welcome the launch of several bilateral pilot projects by the end of this year.
