Ukrainian Hydrogen Council and the Economic Recovery Center have signed a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation
The Energy Association «Ukrainian Hydrogen Council» and the Economic Recovery Center have signed a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation.

Today, the topic of decarbonization is extremely relevant throughout the world and the usage of hydrogen technology play a decisive role in this direction.
"Now both the world and Ukraine are waiting for post-COVID-19 recovery, economic growth is a challenge for all of us. There are different opinions of which instrument to use to achieve the stated goals. This is both the European Green Deal and CBAM (carbon border adjustment mechanism). We have seen that hydrogen energy is one of the best responses to the challenge posed COVID-19 and, in our view, this topic should be one of the priorities in economic development. On that ground we we're pleased to sign the Memorandum of Cooperation”, said Executive Director of the Economic Recovery Center Kyrylo Kryvolap.

In particular, the Memorandum provides for an exchange of information, identification of relevant issues and barriers to the implementation of hydrogen technologies in Ukraine, as well as cooperation in advancing the topic of hydrogen energy.
"The EU has viewed Ukraine as a priority partner in the implementation of the European Hydrogen Strategy, and in order not to lose credibility, we need to join forces and promote the idea of hydrogen energy development," said the President of the Ukrainian Hydrogen Council Oleksandr Riepkin.
